Utilize Wide Eyes for speed reading improvement. Our software includes the Shultz table to track progress. Retake tests to spot small changes missed during previous attempts. Compatible with iMac and downloadable for ease of access.

One thing that I found significant was that the older version only contained 0's and 1's, which provided minimal changes that weren't so obvious. Therefore, I had to pay close attention to notice every little change, which helped improve my reading speed. I couldn't help thinking that perhaps using different numbers altogether, like 0's and 8's or 7's and 1's, might provide an additional challenge.
In my opinion, the more challenging the game becomes, the more people will want to polish their visual field and reading speed. Big movements will always attract our attention, but subtle changes that blend in with the whole may not be as noticeable without sufficient training.
I'm envisioning a random change rate that includes varying numbers of changes per click- some with small, subtle changes that are barely noticeable and others with big movements that attract immediate attention. The idea is to create a balance between the two so that people can improve their reading speed gradually.
Overall, Shultz table is a great tool that can help anyone improve their reading speed with practice.
